FAQ
Why are my frames misaligned by a pixel?
Sheets often carry padding or a margin around the grid. Account for the outer margin and the gap between cells separately; they are usually different values.
Should I keep padding between frames?
In the sheet, yes — a one or two pixel gap prevents texture bleeding when the sheet is sampled at non-integer scales. In exported frames, no.
Can it detect frames automatically?
It can group connected non-transparent regions, which works well for clearly separated sprites and poorly for a character whose limbs are detached.
