How are the words spoken aloud?
Using your browser's built-in text-to-speech (the Web Speech API) - no audio files or backend service required. If your browser doesn't support it, the word is shown as text instead.

Can I hear a word again during the test?
Yes - click "Hear word again" at any point before submitting your answer.
Is this graded automatically?
Yes - your typed answer is compared to the correct spelling (case-insensitive), and a full results summary with a score is shown at the end.
Can I control how fast the words are read?
