How it works
- Display the board on a shared classroom or party screen and set the number of teams (2-4).
- Type each team's real name into its card, then ask a question and let a team buzz in.
- The first selection locks the remaining buttons and plays a buzz sound until you reset the round.
- Award a point to the team that answered correctly, or reset scores to start a fresh game.
The first click changes the board to a locked state. That keeps the facilitator's attention on the first team to respond, while the built-in scoreboard and number-key shortcuts (1-4 to buzz, R to reset) keep the round moving without any setup or account.
FAQ
Can players buzz from their own phones?
This frontend version is designed for one shared screen. Coordinating separate devices would require a live server connection, which this tool does not use.
Can I reset after every question?
Yes. Reset round unlocks every buzzer and clears the previous first response, without touching the scoreboard.
Does it keep score?
Yes. Click +1 on a team's card to award a point, and use Reset scores to clear the scoreboard for a new game.
Can I rename the teams?
Yes. Type directly into the name field on each team's card - the new name is used in the "buzzed in first" announcement.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
Yes. Press 1 through 4 (matching the number of teams in play) to buzz in, and press R to reset the round.
Can I turn off the buzz sound?
Yes. Uncheck Buzz sound in the toolbar to run silent rounds.
