How random are the generated NPCs?
Each field — name, race, occupation, personality trait, quirk, and motivation — is picked independently using the Web Crypto API's random number generator, so every click gives a genuinely random combination rather than a fixed rotation through a small set of pre-made characters.
Can I use these NPCs for my tabletop campaign?
Yes — there's no attribution or license requirement. Click Generate as many times as you like and copy any result as plain text to paste into your campaign notes.
Can I regenerate just one field, like the name?
Not currently — each click regenerates the full character. If you like the personality but not the name, generate again until both land the way you want, or manually swap in your own name from the copied text.
