How aim training works
- Choose the round length and target size.
- Click each target as soon as it appears in a new random position.
- Review average hit time, elapsed time, and accuracy.
Scoring method
Each hit time is measured from target placement to the successful click. Accuracy divides successful hits by all training-field clicks.
average hit time = total hit time / targets | accuracy = hits / (hits + misses) x 100
FAQ
What does the aim trainer measure?
It measures target acquisition time and click accuracy across a configurable round of targets.
How is average hit time calculated?
The time from each successful target appearing to its click is recorded. The arithmetic mean of those times is shown at the end.
What counts as a miss?
Any click inside the training field that does not land on the visible target counts as a miss and lowers accuracy.
Which target size should I choose?
Start with medium or large targets for speed, then use smaller targets to emphasize precision.
Does screen or mouse hardware affect results?
Yes. Pointer settings, display size, refresh rate, touch input, and mouse latency can influence scores.
