How the Fantasy Points Calculator works

The method
Fantasy points are a weighted sum of raw statistics, and the weights are the whole game — the same performance scores very differently between formats.
points = Σ (stat x rule weight) + bonuses
Ten receptions are worth 0 in standard scoring and 10 in full PPR, which is why a possession receiver can be a bench player in one league and a starter in another.
FAQ
Why do rankings differ so much between sites?
Because most publish for standard or half-PPR scoring. If your league uses full PPR, tight-end premium, or return yardage, external rankings are describing a different game.
Do bonus thresholds matter much?
They add variance rather than expected points. A 100-yard bonus rewards the ceiling game, which matters more in head-to-head weekly formats than in season totals.
Can it project future scores?
No. It scores statistics you provide. Projection is a separate problem, and any tool doing both should be clear about which number you are looking at.
