Why does rendering take about as long as the video's length?
The rotated video is captured in real time as it plays and re-records through your browser — a 2-minute clip takes about 2 minutes to render. This avoids needing a heavy video-processing library.
What format does the rotated video download as?
WebM — the format your browser's MediaRecorder produces natively, widely supported for playback and further editing.
Will the audio be kept?
Yes, if the original file has an audio track, it's carried over into the rotated output.
