How the slideshow maker works
- Add your photos in the order you want them to appear — reorder or remove any of them before building.
- Choose how long each photo stays on screen and, optionally, add a background music track.
- Click Build slideshow — an MP4 video is encoded directly in your browser, ready to preview and download.
How the video is assembled
Each photo is written into an in-memory list along with how long it should display, using FFmpeg's concat demuxer to stitch them into a single continuous video stream at a standard 25 frames per second. If you added music, it's mixed in as a second audio stream and trimmed to match whichever is shorter — the photos or the music.
FAQ
How many photos can I add?
There’s no hard limit, but more photos (or very large ones) take longer to encode and use more memory, since everything happens in your browser. A few dozen photos at a moderate resolution works well.
Can I add background music?
Yes — choose an audio file and it’s mixed into the exported video. If the music is longer than the slideshow, it’s trimmed to match; if it’s shorter, the slideshow will finish with no music playing.
Does it support transitions like crossfades?
Not yet — this version uses a hard cut between photos, each shown for the duration you choose. It’s a simple, reliable slideshow rather than an effects-heavy video editor.
Are my photos or music uploaded anywhere?
No. The video is assembled and encoded entirely in your browser using a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg — nothing is sent to Online Tool Store or any other server.
