Captions are rendered in all caps, in a bold font with a white fill and black outline — the classic meme-text look — and automatically shrink to fit the canvas width so long lines never get clipped.
FAQ
Are my captions or images uploaded anywhere?
No. The template is drawn and your text is rendered directly on a canvas in your browser — nothing is sent to a server, and the finished PNG is generated locally too.
Can I use my own photo instead of a template?
Not yet — this tool currently ships with a handful of original background templates you caption directly, rather than an upload option. If you need your own photo as the base, that's worth raising as a follow-up feature.
Why does the text use that specific bold font?
That's Impact (or a similar bold sans-serif fallback if Impact isn't installed) — the white-fill, black-outline caption style that's been the meme-text convention since the format took off in the 2010s.
What size is the downloaded image?
The PNG downloads at 600×600 pixels, matching the canvas the meme is composed on.
Does the text ever get cut off?
No — the font size automatically shrinks to fit long captions within the canvas width, down to a minimum readable size, so the text always stays fully visible.
