FAQ
Does this tool upload my data?
No. Local video files are processed and played entirely in your browser and are never uploaded anywhere. YouTube videos are loaded through YouTube's own embedded player, so only the video ID you paste is sent to YouTube, exactly as it would be watching normally.
Can I use it without an account?
Yes. The page is designed as a no-sign-up browser workspace — just drop in a video or paste a YouTube URL.
How do I step through a video frame by frame?
Use the Prev/Next buttons (or the Left/Right arrow keys) to move one frame at a time, or the ±5 and ±10 buttons to jump further. Playback pauses automatically so each step lands on a clean frame.
Can I do this with a YouTube video, not just a file on my computer?
Yes. Switch the source toggle to YouTube, paste the video's URL, and the same zoom, stepping, and frame-capture controls apply to it.
Can I save the frame I'm looking at as an image?
Yes. For local video, use the PNG or JPEG buttons under "Save frame" to export the exact frame currently shown. For YouTube, use the "Capture frame" PNG/JPEG buttons to grab the visible frame.
Can I loop a specific section of the video?
Yes. Set point A and point B at any two moments, then turn on "Loop A → B" to repeat that range continuously — useful for checking a repeated action frame by frame.
