FAQ
How many images can I convert at once?
There's no hard limit built into the tool, but since every image is converted in your browser, a very large batch will take proportionally longer and use more memory. A few dozen typical photos convert comfortably.
Does the quality slider affect PNG output?
No — PNG is a lossless format, so there's no quality setting to adjust. The slider only affects JPG and WEBP, which use lossy compression.
What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?
JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent areas are filled with white before conversion. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG or WEBP instead.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
