How the A-B loop player works
- Pick a source β paste a YouTube URL and load it, or drop in a local video file β then play or scrub to where you want the loop to start.
- Click "Set A," then scrub to where you want the loop to end and click "Set B."
- Click "Play Loop" β the video jumps back to point A automatically every time it reaches point B, looping continuously until you stop it. Adjust playback speed any time.

Can I loop a YouTube video?
Yes. Switch the source to "YouTube URL", paste a normal youtube.com or youtu.be link, and click "Load Video". Setting A/B, the automatic loop, playback speed and the keyboard shortcuts all work the same as for a local file.
How do I set the loop points precisely?
Play or scrub the video to the exact moment you want, then click "Set A" or "Set B" β the current playback position becomes that point. You can re-set either point as many times as you like, or press A / B on the keyboard.
Can I slow down the loop?
Yes β use the playback speed selector (0.25Γ to 2Γ) to slow the video down, which is especially useful for studying fast movements within your loop.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. Local files play directly from your device using your browser's built-in video player, and YouTube videos load through YouTube's official embedded player β nothing is sent to Online Tool Store or any other server.
Can I share my loop with someone else?
Yes, for YouTube videos β the tool writes the video ID, loop points, and speed into the page URL, so copying and sharing that link reopens the same loop for whoever opens it. Local files can't be shared this way since the file itself stays on your device.
What are the keyboard shortcuts?
Space toggles play/pause, A and B set the loop points at the current position, R restarts the loop from point A, and C clears both points β all work as soon as a video is loaded, without needing to click into the player first.
Does it remember my loop if I reload the page?
Yes β your loop points, speed, and source are saved to your browser's local storage, so reopening the tool restores them (though a local file itself has to be re-selected, since files aren't stored).
