Does this pull comments directly from a YouTube video?
No — this tool works on a list of comments you paste in yourself. Sample comments are pre-loaded so you can see how the picker works, but there is no automatic fetching from YouTube.
How do I get my real comments into it?
Copy the comments from your video (one per line works best — for example "Name — comment text") and paste them over the sample text. Then set your keyword filter and winner count and pick.
Is the pick actually random?
Yes — each draw uses the browser's random number generator to pick from the eligible pool without replacement, so the same comment can't be drawn twice for the same run.
