FAQ
Where are my tasks stored?
In your browser's local storage, on this device only — nothing is uploaded or synced. Clearing your browser data or using a different browser/device will not show the same list.
Will my tasks still be there if I close the tab?
Yes. Local storage persists across browser restarts until you clear it, complete and remove a task, or clear your browsing data.
Can I use this on my phone and see the same list on my laptop?
No — there's no account or sync, by design (nothing ever leaves your browser). Each device keeps its own separate list.
Is there a limit to how many tasks I can add?
No hard limit, though each task is capped at 200 characters to keep the list readable.
How do I back up or move my list to another device?
Click "Export JSON" to download your tasks as a file, then "Import JSON" on any device (or after clearing your browser data) to bring them back. Importing merges with your current list rather than replacing it, skipping any tasks already there.
Can I reorder my tasks?
Yes — drag a task by the ⠿ handle on its left edge and drop it where you want it.
