How is this different from the Open Graph Previewer?
Open Graph Previewer shows how a shared link's card (title/description/image) looks. This tool previews the post itself — your name, handle, and text — as it would appear directly in a feed, with the platform's character limit.
Why do character limits differ between platforms?
Each platform sets its own limit — X (Twitter) is famously short at 280, Mastodon defaults to 500, and LinkedIn allows much longer posts (up to 3,000 characters) before truncating with a "see more" link.
