What each check looks for
These checks mirror the same on-page basics search engines and SEO guides commonly recommend: a unique, appropriately-sized title and meta description, exactly one H1 per page, descriptive alt text on images, and enough genuine content for the page to be worth ranking. None of these guarantee a ranking — they're the fundamentals that keep a page from working against itself.
FAQ
Why do I need to paste HTML instead of a URL?
Fetching a URL directly from your browser usually fails due to CORS restrictions, and would mean sending that page through a server. Pasting the page's HTML source (right-click → View Page Source, then copy) keeps the analysis fully private and works for any page, including ones not yet live.
What counts as a "good" title length?
Roughly 30-60 characters. Titles shorter than that often waste an opportunity to include useful keywords; titles longer than that risk being truncated in Google's search results.
Does this check ranking or backlinks?
No. This is an on-page technical check — title, meta description, headings, images, links, and word count — not a ranking tracker or backlink analyzer, which need external data this tool doesn't fetch.
Is my pasted HTML sent anywhere?
No. The HTML is parsed and analyzed entirely in your browser using the built-in DOMParser — nothing is sent to Online Tool Store or any other server.
