Engagement rate = (Likes + Comments + Shares) ÷ Followers × 100

Why are reach and impressions estimates, not exact numbers?
Only the platform itself knows your actual reach — it depends on the algorithm, time of day, hashtags, and factors no outside calculator can see. This uses commonly cited organic-reach ranges per platform to give a ballpark, not a guaranteed figure.
What's the difference between reach and impressions?
Reach counts unique people who saw your content; impressions count total views, including the same person seeing it more than once. Impressions are always equal to or greater than reach — this tool assumes roughly 1.4 views per person reached, a commonly cited average.
How is engagement rate calculated?
Total engagements (likes + comments + shares) divided by your follower count, shown as a percentage — the standard "engagement rate by followers" formula most platforms and analytics tools use.
What's reach rate, and why does it matter?
Reach rate is your estimated reach shown as a percentage of your total followers (Est. reach ÷ Followers × 100), so you can compare distribution across accounts of very different sizes without the raw numbers being misleading.
