Add a few pros and cons to see a verdict.

      How it works

      1. Add your reasons to the Pros and Cons columns.
      2. Give each one a weight from ×1 (minor) to ×5 (major).
      3. See the running verdict update as you add, edit, or remove reasons.

      FAQ

What does the weight (×1 to ×5) mean?

Not every pro or con matters equally — a ×5 weight counts five times as much toward the verdict as a ×1. Use it to reflect how much each point actually matters to your decision, not just how many points you can list.

Is this the same as a decision matrix?

Related, but simpler and narrower — a decision matrix scores multiple options against several shared criteria. This is a single yes/no decision (should I do this or not?) with weighted reasons on each side, which is a faster fit for most everyday choices.

      Is my board saved?

No — everything you enter lives only in this browser tab for this session. Reloading the page resets it back to the example.

Should I really let a number decide?

Treat the verdict as a starting point, not a final answer — it's only as good as the weights you assign. If the result surprises you, that's often a sign one of your weights doesn't actually reflect how you feel.

A plain list can't tell you that one big pro outweighs three small cons — weighting each item does.
