Why does the mix length match the voice track, not the music?
A podcast intro is defined by the narration — the music is there to support it, not the other way around. If the music is shorter than the voice, it loops to fill the remaining time; if it's longer, it's simply trimmed once the voice ends.
What music volume should I use?
Somewhere around 20-40% relative to the voice usually works well — loud enough to set the mood, quiet enough that the narration stays clearly the focus. Preview and adjust to taste.
Why fade the music in and out instead of a hard cut?
