How it works
- Choose a PDF from your device — it opens instantly, page one first.
- Navigate with the page controls, zoom in or out to adjust readability, and use the search box to find every occurrence of a word or phrase across the whole document.
- Click a search result to jump straight to the page it's on.
Each page is rendered from the PDF's own vector content at whatever zoom level you choose, not from a fixed-size preview image — so text stays crisp whether you're reading a full page or zoomed in on a footnote.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere to be viewed?
No. The file is read and rendered directly in your browser using its own memory — it never leaves your device or touches a server.
What can I search for?
Any text in the document — the search scans every page's text content and lists each match with a snippet of surrounding text and its page number, so you can jump straight to it.
Why doesn't search find anything in my PDF?
Search only works on selectable text. A scanned PDF (a photo or scan saved as a PDF) has no text layer to search, only page images — that's a limitation of the file itself, not the viewer.
Can it open a password-protected PDF?
Not currently — an encrypted PDF fails to open with an error. Support for entering a password to unlock one may be added later.
Does zooming lose quality on large pages?
No — each page is re-rendered from the original vector PDF content at the new zoom level, not scaled up from a fixed-resolution image, so text and lines stay sharp at any zoom.
