How to plan a PDF crop

Page boxes and visible content
PDF cropping typically adjusts a page box that controls what viewers and printers display. Objects beyond that boundary may remain inside the document. The preview uses an A4 210 × 297 mm page and subtracts the selected margins to calculate the retained dimensions and area.

What does cropping a PDF page do?
Cropping changes the visible page boundary. It does not reflow text or scale the original page content.
Can I use different margins on each side?
Yes. Turn off Keep all margins equal, then enter separate top, right, bottom, and left values.
What page-range formats can I enter?
The interface accepts a planning range such as 1-5, 8, 10-12. Check the range against the document page count before applying it.
Does cropping reduce PDF file size?
Not necessarily. A PDF crop can hide content outside the page boundary without removing the underlying objects, so file size may remain similar.
Is the PDF uploaded?
No. The selected file stays in your browser and no document content is sent to a server.
