The formatter substitutes Unicode characters rather than applying rich-text formatting. The supported letter styles map A-Z and a-z, with digit support in some styles. Essential information is best kept in plain text because styled symbols can behave differently in search and assistive software.

Which text styles are available?
Bold, italic, bold italic, serif bold, script and monospace are available, along with underline and strikethrough. The six letter styles map unaccented Latin letters; only some also map digits.
Can I remove the formatting again?
Yes. Select the text and use Remove all formatting, or leave nothing selected to apply it to the whole post. It reverses the styles this tool supports and removes its underline and strike marks.
Why are the character counts different?
The widget counts Unicode code points and separately compares UTF-16 units against a built-in 3,000-unit budget. Styled letters use two UTF-16 units each. Check the pasted post in LinkedIn before publishing.
Is styled Unicode text as accessible as plain text?
The styles replace ordinary letters with different Unicode symbols. Assistive software and search may handle them differently, so keep essential information in plain text and use styling sparingly.
