Gap report
64 topics compared: 18 covered by competitors and not by you, 9 covered by you alone, 37 shared — with the shared set being where you are directly competing.
How the Keyword Gap Analyzer works
- List the topics your pages actually cover, in the words a searcher would use.
- Do the same for one or two competitors, from their sitemap or navigation.
- Read the gaps, then judge each one — a gap only matters if the topic is one you can genuinely serve better.
FAQ
Is every gap worth filling?
No. A competitor covering a topic proves they decided to, not that it works. Fill gaps where you have genuine expertise or a real product connection; ignore the ones where you would be writing filler.
What about topics only I cover?
Those are either a genuine differentiator or a topic nobody searches for. Check whether they bring traffic before deciding which.
Does this need search volume data?
It works without it, comparing coverage rather than demand. Adding volume data from a provider tells you which gaps are worth prioritising, which is a separate question.

Keyword Gap Analyzer compares coverage, not demand — a gap is only an opportunity if you can serve the topic better than the page already ranking.
