FAQ
Does this verify whether an inbox exists?
No. It checks address structure only and never contacts a domain or mail server. Deliverability, mailbox existence, and consent cannot be established by this browser-only cleaner.
How are duplicates detected?
Duplicate comparison is case-insensitive, because capitalization should not create separate contacts in a practical mailing list. You can turn deduplication off.
Can it clean names with email addresses?
Yes. Common Name <address@example.com> entries are recognized. Plain lists separated by new lines, commas, semicolons, or spaces also work.
Is my contact list uploaded?
No. Cleaning, validation, domain counts, copying, and CSV creation happen locally in your browser.
What the cleaner checks
Formatting
Checks the @ sign, local-part rules, domain labels, and plausible top-level domains.
Duplicates
Finds repeated addresses without treating letter case as a meaningful difference.
Not deliverability
Does not claim that a mailbox exists, accepts messages, or has marketing consent.
