No. The current widget shows a fixed sample. Editing the citation box does not recalculate the displayed output.
Does selecting Chicago or APA change the result?
No. MLA, Chicago and APA appear in the selector, but it is not connected to conversion logic. The displayed output remains the fixed MLA-labeled sample.
Does the example validate authors or source details?
No. The sample changes the initial J. to John without a source lookup. Treat it as an interface illustration, not a verified reference or a model for expanding author initials.
