How the Audio Loop Maker works
- Load the audio and set rough loop points around a musically sensible section.
- Snap both edges to zero crossings so the waveform does not jump at the seam.
- Add a short crossfade and listen to at least three repeats before exporting.
The method
A click at a loop point happens when the waveform amplitude jumps instantly between the end sample and the start sample. Snapping both to a zero crossing removes the step.

For music, the loop also has to land on a musical boundary β a technically clean seam in the middle of a bar still sounds wrong.
FAQ
Why does my loop click?
Because the end and start samples are at different amplitudes, so the waveform jumps. Snapping to zero crossings fixes the click; a crossfade fixes what snapping cannot.
How long should the crossfade be?
Long enough to hide the seam, short enough not to blur the material β 100 to 300 ms suits most music, less for percussive content where the fade smears transients.
Does the loop need to be musically timed?
For music, yes. A seam that is technically clean but lands mid-bar is still obvious, because the ear tracks the rhythm rather than the waveform.
Does my audio leave my device?
