How does the glitch effect work?
Two effects combine: random horizontal slices of the image are shifted sideways (the "datamosh" look), and the red and blue color channels are offset in opposite directions to create a chromatic-aberration fringe.
Can I control how strong the effect is?
Yes — "Intensity" controls how many slices shift and how far, and "RGB shift" controls how far the red/blue channels separate. Turn RGB shift to 0 for slice glitching only.
Will I get the same result every time?
No — the slice positions and offsets are randomized, so click "Regenerate glitch" to get a new variation at the same settings.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No — the effect is applied entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is sent to a server.
